Are there alternative treatments for inverse psoriasis?

Flexural psoriasis (also called inverse psoriasis) is one of the five main types of the autoimmune condition psoriasis. Some people with psoriasis have found relief through alternative treatments.

However, psoriasis can worsen over time and put you at risk for serious medical complications. So it's important to talk with your doctor about a good treatment plan. In addition to some of the successful medical treatments for your flexural psoriasis, your doctor may also talk to you about incorporating alternative treatments that might include stress reduction through meditation, massage, cognitive behavioral therapy, or other therapies, and acupuncture.

Fish oil supplements and natural ultraviolet light are alternative treatments for inverse psoriasis. There are also several other alternative treatments available. However, unlike traditional medications, alternative treatments have not been studied and tested as of yet for the disorder.
