Are there any alternative treatments for cyclic rosacea?

While only certain topical treatments and oral antibiotics have been approved as treatments for rosacea, various other substances have been proposed to be helpful. Emu, oregano, and laurelwood oils have been suggested as topical ointments, while colloidal silver and vitamin K have been taken as oral treatments. None of these alternative remedies have been definitely proven as effective treatments, though.
