All age groups are affected by attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The reason why the issues seem less problematic when you get older is that you have more control over your environment. Adults with ADHD can avoid desk jobs whereas children have to go to school and their homework is chosen for them. If you think you or your child has ADHD, consider an evaluation.
