Symptoms of peripheral neuropathy (abnormal sensations involving parts of your body, such as the hands and feet) usually begin anywhere from several hours to three days after infusion. They can occur as long as 14 days after treatment. Short-term symptoms can last for up to two weeks with each cycle. Long-term symptoms last longer than two weeks. The symptoms may lessen when the therapy is stopped. Communicate symptoms with your physician if they persist for more than 14 days.
