There aren't really any medications that can be used to treat primary lactose intolerance. However, lactase enzymes are available without a prescription in tablet or liquid form. Lactase is the enzyme that helps your body break down lactose, the sugar that's found in dairy products. By taking lactase tablets before eating dairy, or by adding the drops to milk or other dairy products, you may be able to eat those products with fewer symptoms. Other treatments for primary lactose intolerance are diet and lifestyle changes, not medications.
