Managing high blood pressure on a daily basis means following the treatment plan prescribed by your doctor. More than likely that includes regular exercise and eating a healthy diet. It might also mean giving up tobacco and cutting back on alcohol for some people. In some cases medication or a combination of medications will be needed to manage high blood pressure as well. Whatever the case may be, its up to you to follow through on your doctor's orders. Not doing so could be deadly. Left untreated, high blood pressure has been know to cause aneurysms, heart attacks and strokes.
