When and how should I perform mouth-to-nose rescue breaths?

If you are unable to make a tight enough seal over a person’s mouth, you can blow into the nose.
 
  1. With the head tilted back, close the mouth by pushing on the chin.
  2. Seal your mouth around the person’s nose, and breathe into it. 
  3. Open the person’s mouth between breaths to let out air.
