8-10 cups every night is quite a lot of nuts! Are you training for a serious athletic event or do you require copious amount of protein due to a medical condition? I would not advise eating too many nuts, you may not be getting a very well rounded diet if you are eating this much of any food. There is such a thing as too much of good thing. I would eat a varied diet with multiple sources of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats.
