What vital signs are read on a monitor vary from monitor to monitor and how the nurses have the machine programmed. Generally the monitor reads:

    • Blood pressure
    • Heart Rate, and Rhythm
    • Respiratory Rate
    • Oxygen Saturation

Additionally they can be programmed to monitor (with addition supplies):

    • Temperature
    • Central Venous Pressure
    • Intracranial Pressure
    • End-Title Carbon Dioxide Monitoring
    • Pulmonary Wedge Pressure
    • Pressure in the Right Atrium
