Depending on your intake of coffee, you may be ruining all that extra water you have been drinking to reduce your body storing water. People who drink too much coffee may have some stomach problems. The caffeine irritates the lining of the stomach as it has a heavy acidic content. Caffeine may also cause the body to lose calcium, and that can lead to bone loss over time. Drink one cup or less of caffeine a day and enjoy lots of fresh water!
Strong evidence shows that coffee can aggravate health problems including reflux, atrial fibrillation and anxiety. It can also cause dehydration, tremors and sleep deprivation. Pregnant women should limit the amount of coffee they drink because effects on the fetus have not been adequately studied.
