Frustration, a form of anger, is something with which you must deal as a caregiver without involving the care recipient. Speaking of your frustrations to the care recipient can sometimes make the problem even worse. One of the things that you can do to help is to get enough rest. That's easier said than done, but being tired amplifies small irritations and makes them seem even more irritating. And, these small things added up and push you over the edge. Getting a good night's sleep is very important. Try meditating or taking a warm bath just before bedtime. The use of white noise can also help.
