Mehmet Oz, MD, Cardiology, answeredYou should see a doctor about your frostbite if you have lost all sensation in the exposed area, if you are running a fever, or if you are experiencing dizziness.

Anyone experiencing the symptoms of frostbite needs to contact a doctor. Even if the symptoms seem mild, and you have been able to warm the skin, only a doctor can determine if tissue damage has been done. Severe cases of frostbite may require hospitalization.
