Is heat better than cold for lower back pain?

    It is recommended that you first apply cold several times a day for up to 20 minutes. After several days of cold applications, apply heat such as from a heating pad to relax muscles and increase blood flow. Watch the video for more on use of hot and cold for lower back pain.
