Our Mission

HealthCorps® is a proactive movement and vehicle for research and intervention, co-founded by Dr. Mehmet Oz and his wife Lisa Oz to fight obesity by empowering American students to become health agents of change in their communities. HealthCorps administers a high school mentoring program in 11 states, conducts community outreach through Fit Town™ to enhance residents’ wellness and connection to Nature, and advocates across all government levels for policies that put physical education back into the core curriculum of schools.
