Grannies on Safari

Our Mission

The Grannies on Safari is an international travel series hosted by Regina Fraser and Pat Johnson.  The show airs on PBS stations and the UK Travel Channel.

Regina is an energetic world traveler whose passion for travel began early as her jazz musician father played for the Duke Ellington Orchestra and traveled all over the world.  Her 31 year career as an executive with a major international airline added to her quest to see more of the globe.  To date, she has been to more than 40 countries and is a co-host of the Emmy® award winning Grannies on Safari® international travel series.

Pat is a career arts administrator. Prior to uniting with Regina to create Grannies on Safari®; she served as the founding director of the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco. Pat has a long career in the arts and while at the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs organized a program to support bilateral international cultural exchanges between artists and arts administrators in Chicago and throughout the world. She has traveled to more than 75 countries.
