Dr. Mermilliod's areas of interest include medical, surgical and pediatric dermatology. She joined Ochsner's staff in 2000 and was named Chair of the Dermatology Department in 2006. She is active in a variety of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, Louisiana Dermatological Society, and Women's Dermatologic Society. A native of New Orleans, Dr. Mermilliod received her Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from Louisiana State University Medical Center and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from LSU Medical School in New Orleans. She completed her dermatology residency at LSU Health Sciences Center and is board certified in dermatology.
