Patient Reviews
Mar 03, 2024
My 82-year-old father had severe aortic stenosis and was in need of a valve replacement. When attempting a traditional TAVR through the femoral artery, together with cardiologist Aamer Jamali, Dr. Fontana determined that due to my dad’s physiology, it was unsafe to do that way, so they closed him up and rescheduled to do it three weeks later through the carotid artery instead. I had no idea that was possible! Apparently, we were more fortunate than we knew. Dr. Fontana is one of the best surgeons in the country for this unique procedure. And Dad is recovering remarkably well! The entire staff, including receptionists Ana & Renee, office manager Patty, and MA Paloma have all been absolutely top notch in every encounter, and PA Kelly Hall is without a doubt the most caring, compassionate and supportive, absolutely brilliant medical professional I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I recommend this doctor and his staff with the absolute highest confidence! They are the very best!!
